It is bright, and pretty well built, but the driver circuit inside says 62V, 580 mA. That's 36W, not 60 . . . Then it says 58W max, how? Is it going to ramp up to 100V? The build quality is good, it looks like it would do well in outside locations and wet conditions. It has a faceted cover to spread the light, but all the LEDs are in a small circle in the middle, so it still has that welding arc kind of glare. It can be blinding if you happen to glance at it.

This light feels high quality with a sturdy aluminum housing. The fit and finish are clean and solid. Installation was easy and the design makes it simple to mount in different ways. It can sit flush or connect to other lights through the threaded holes.The threads are built right into the housing and that's the best feature of this unit. The brightness is strong and clear with no flicker. Functionality is great and everything works like it should. For the price, the value for money is good.

The mounting method is slick, with enough options to accommodate any type of installation. Secure the bracket, slide the fixture onto it, attach two screws, and that's it! It's described as commercial, but I think industrial is fitting too. That old adage, 'They don't make 'em like they used to' doesn't apply here.It's built like a tank, with a solid body that dissipates heat well. I'm on solar so there's no stress over this 40 watt load remaining on all night. The lens does a good job of diffusing the light, and the light itself is decent, though the temperature is a tad warmer than I prefer inside a garage or shop but it's perfect for canopies and carports. It's not the brightest but it is priced right for the quality and lumens. You need only look at the images from reviewers who've actually installed this to understand. If you have a 3-car garage, you're gonna want the 4-pack.The housing is the standout feature, and if the light portion ever fails, there are LED disk kits available to keep this in service for many years. It's a good value with this quality build and performance.

Okay this thing is really neat. My biggest pet peeve about installing ceiling lights is the actual mounting part. You have to either put anchors into the drywall, or align some plate with the box and then try to line up the light fixture with that, usually outside your viewing range because the fixture itself is covering it.That's not the case at all with this light, the mounting plate is physically attached to the light with a hinge! So all you have to do is unhook one side of the plate, line it up with the box and put one screw in. It will hold the whole light fixture up long enough to put the other screw into the box and the you flip the whole thing up on its hinge, slide it into the clips and put the retaining screw in. The whole affair took 5 minutes WITH wiring. This mounting system alone makes this light worth it - if the install time is so quick you really get an amzing value - especially if say you're lighting up an entire warehouse.We didn't use this in a warehouse, I just replaced a 20 year old 8ft long fluorescent light and the output while a little more glaring, is way way brighter and now we can clean out our garage. It's awesome.
