I have bought over 40 so far and beyond pleased, these things are super bright once done I will install 100 in my warehouse. I highly recommend!

This thing is insanely bright. It is a whole lot of light in a small package. It has two strips of LEDs, one down each side, with the control box in the middle and the wires coming out of the center of the top of the light. Wiring is straight forward and standard. You can easily install it yourself as long as you have good basic electrical skills. The body of the light is pretty thin and light weight. Mounting it is quite easy and can be done by hanging it from the included wires or you can hard mount it if you want to. It could also be flush mounted in the ceiling if you want. Given how extremely bright it is, I do like that it is capable of using a dimmer. It can be purchased separately and connects to a prewired port in the cover panel. Overall this is a very high quality, bright, and nice light. I put it in my Gunsmithing shop over my milling machine and metal Lathe, and it has drastically changed the feel and visibility in my shop. I would definitely recommend this light.

I can't speak to the dimensions of the other sizes available here, but the 210W version is 10 inches x 2 ft. (actually looking at another review of the 130W, it shows a similar 10 inches x 1.5 (vs 2) ft). When first turned on, it seems to pull closer to 220W, but settles into the 210 within a few minutes.I've had really good luck with JC-LGL products and this one is no different. There is no flicker (when viewed with a high speed camera - which is great for rotating tools like a lathe). Some lights have a flickering strobing effect that will make rotating parts look like they are moving backwards or not moving at all - similar to the effect of the car rim next to you spinning backwards as they drive down the road, or a ��dance party�� effect). Either way, this light doesn't do that.It is a very bright light (similar to the UFO style intensity) It's not super enclosed on the top, so I'm a little worried about mice and spiders and wasps and such. It is designed for a hardwired system, however I just wired mine to an old extension cord end with some marrettes (wire-nuts) and electrical tape. The wires don't have any strain relief coming out of the unit, and instead just relies on some rubber to keep the wires from cutting. It claims it is good for 240V installations as well, but I just wired mine at 110V..The height adjustment system is really slick once you figure out how to use it. It easily adjusts both up and down. I unscrewed one the first time to lower it, and that's not needed at all. It is dimmable with a 0-10V DC power supply, or by using a variable resistor (resistor is a hack method since the dimming wires do have a slight power to them). They wired it to a ��headphone�� jack style plug on the underside of the light - which is an odd choice since that means running wires under there. Thankfully the wires can easily be cut and hard wired in from above if you were using the dimming feature.The last thing I can note, is in both before/after images I locked the focus/light balance settings on my phone. I also tried to get it to be somewhat representative of what it looks like in real life, however the one definitely undersells it. I left a small10W magnetic task/work light onto show some comparison. There was also already some ambient lighting, but the shop is generally pretty dark.

The Good:-This gives of SO much more light than just my old regular ceiling light which makes it much easier to craft with-Dimmable light-Well made / good quality-Easy to install (takes next to minimal electricity knowledge to set up)-Has a motion detection settingAt the time of this review, this bay light was $124.99 and I think that's a fair deal.

I got this for my garage/workshop, I needed a high output light over my work area because I often need to do precision work that requires a well lighted area, and I often found myself using a flashlight for the thighter corners which is less than ideal!First of all, out of the box, you can already feel the construction quality. It is nicely assembled and painted, UL certified, which is also a quality insurance! I forgot to take pictures before I installed it, so a before/after comparison wasn't an option, but, this light made all the difference!! Coming from a set of 40 watts 48" fluorescents to this, that doesn't even compare! I am very glad I switched, and I should have done that a long time ago!If you are in the same situation as me, I HIGHLY recommend this light fixture!

I got this to hang over my work bench in the shop. The fixture is smaller than I was expecting, it's about 16"x10". It puts out a lot of light for its size, I am happy with it.

Pros:- UL Listed/Certified (E511401), searching the number on the sticker corresponds to the model number of this unit. This is impressive as it costs the manufacturer to get this certification.- Transformer/Driver inside is already UR registered, meaning it's certified to be used in something that will get UL listing - this adds to the legitimacy of the certification- Comes with steel wire and a quick cinch clip for raising and lowering the heightCons:- The termination method is kinda odd. It comes with a plastic grommet which isn't good enough for proper installation, I think they included this just as a way for the wires to stick out. You will needs additional hardware or installation by an electrician.- Not much diffusion on the lens so the quality of light ends up being quite harshI was hoping to get a bit more light in my garage and this has achieved it. I only installed it because it was UL certified. I would never install anything permanently hardwired if it didn't have this certification. So I'm happy that this manufacturer included the certification.Overall I'm happy with the light output albeit a bit harsh - you can see from my before/after photo that it lights up the floor and garage door quite a bit.

Much brighter than t-8 bulbs

Wow! Talk about a difference. I removed 4 old four foot florescent lights in my 30x30 shop and hung four of these lights in they're place. I was quite amazed when I flipped the switch. It was still daylight outside so I made a special trip out to the shop after dark just to check out the lights. It was so bright and could see much better. These lights are only like 24" x 14" but don't let the size fool ya. Because of the light weight they are very easy for one person to hang. Very pleased with the purchase and would buy again.

These worked out great for me. Do not understand some of the complaints. Thought they were easy to install and connect.

These lights are super bright purchased 4 for my work shop I only had to use 2 there so bright.High recommend

We bought 6 of these for our studio/barn. They were extremely easy to install. Put them in our studio that has ten foot ceilings in 900 square feet and they cover the whole area�� no shadows.Highly recommended

Very bright and easy to install

I see the light.I live in Oregon and I can be a little stubborn at times so when Oregon told us we can't use fluorescent tubes anymore I was a little pissed. I guess I just don't like being told what I can and cannot have. I have a 40 x 64�� shop with three high bay fluorescent fixtures. 6 bulb 6500k 4 foot T5 54 watts each tube which equals 324 watts per fixture. I really like them by the way. They do a great job. I had a ballast go out so I had a decision to make. Do I spend $45 on a new ballast plus another 50 to replace the tubes or give this high Bay LED fixture a try for $100. I didn't think it would be as bright as my existing T5 bulbs, but wow. My old fixtures put out 30,000 lumens and use 324 watts. The new ones are the 300 watt fixtures and they put out 45,000 lumens. A little less power consumption but my shop is as bright as a grocery store now. The new fixtures are shorter, narrower and lighter but put out a lot more light. I'm sold on these high Bay LED light fixtures. You probably don't want to look directly at them because they will hurt your eyes. However, you can actually put a dimmer on these.My other two old light fixtures are still working, but I'm going to replace them as well. Easy to hang, easy to wire, brighter and a lot less expensive than high bay fluorescent fixtures. It's a no brainer.I hope this helps If you are contemplating a change to LEDs and currently have high bay fluorescent fixtures. Give these a shot. You won't be sorry.

These lights are great! Installation is a breeze, height adjustment has to be the best idea ever. The light is SUPER bright and pleasantly white. Finally, my shop has no shadows.

I brought these bay lights into Australia from the USA not available here in Australia, I needed more light in my engine room , these LED lights are awesome , it is like working outside in bright sun , great product Allan
